Job location: Ain Sokhna

The primary purpose of this position is to perform assembly / disassembly operations on Industrial Gas Turbine Engines. Some grit blast, prepare for coating, blend, cold and hot work metal as required

What are my responsibilities?

·  Performs routine and repetitive assembly / disassembly operations and processes.
·  Prepare parts for coating, heat treat, weld, and shipment
·  Hand blend weld & braze repairs to contour to meet process requirements
·  Belt sand/blend production components.
·  Requires use of a few simple hand and machine tools
·  Test and calibrate parts
·  Some grit blast required
·  Able to load parts as required in vacuum furnace
·  Operate material handling equipment, including crane.
·  Accurately read and follow work instructions
·  Accurately read and interpret blueprints
·  Able to use measuring tools accurately
·  Ability to handle multiple task
·  Comply with safety rules and follow hazardous waste disposal procedures
·  Participate in cost and scrap reduction process improvement efforts
·  Perform in-process inspection of parts.

What do I need to qualify for the job?

·  3+ years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment with assembly and part preparation processes
·  Applicants must be able to demonstrate their skills and experience in a similar role.
·  Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector or aerospace is desirable but not essential.
·  A history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and counter measure implementation within own areas of responsibility.
·  Demonstrated understanding of tooling and fixtures for manufacturing and its impact to quality.
·  Requires the ability to read, write, and complete simple forms, and to understand written instructions
·  Requires the ability to perform math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; also requires the simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, or diagrams
