What will you do?

The Marketing Communications Co-op Student will report to the Marketing Communications Specialist. They will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks in support of the marketing communications function, including marketing literature development, trade show and promotional event logistics, support the development of communications content, and maintenance of customer databases. The Marketing Communications So-op Student will be required to collaborate with internal business unit stakeholders to receive buy-in and support on various initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·  Assist in planning and executing logistics for company meetings, special events, trade shows and sales promotion events.
·  Assist in preparing routine presentation materials, references, or marketing collateral for customers and sales.
·  Provide support on internal and external communications materials, newsletters, inter- / intra-nets, and related materials.
·  Support the content generation process including gathering content, coordinating approvals and translation.
·  Implement communication activities in cooperation with Marketing Communications Specialist and in consultation with management of the respective unit.
·  Performs maintenance on external customer contact lists and directories.

What will you need to succeed?

·  Currently enrolled in University program with a focus on Business or Marketing
·  Completed 2 nd year of program
·  and Adobe
·  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral
·  Experience in technical communications
·  Creative, innovative and analytical
