Mentor Graphics IT organization in Katowice is looking for an experienced IT Engineer who will support R&D teams in Katowice (primary site), Poznan and users based in EMEA region. We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented team player with solid interpersonal and communication skills, who demonstrate passion for work and can contribute to our continuous success and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team and collaborate on projects with other teams within EMEA and the US

• Perform ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure (deploying/patching/upgrading/decommissioning)

• Provide L2 technical support for hardware and software related issues for R&D within EMEA region

• Proactively monitor and analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Provide onboarding trainings for new employees

• Document problems and solutions

Required:

·  Degree in IT and/or equivalent professional experience with:
·  Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, SuSE) OS and application support
·  Windows (client and server) OS and application administration & support
·  Networking (switching/routing, DNS, DHCP, HTTP)
·  Virtualization (VMware)
·  English proficiency at B2 level

Nice to have:

• ITIL experience Professional certifications (RedHat, Microsoft, VMware)

• Puppet/Ansible, NetApp, Zabbix, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Containerization, SVN, Git, LDAP skills
