We're hiring a Fire Alarm Installation Field Technician II to join our growing team in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As a Field Install Tech, you will play a key role in installing and expanding commercial Fire Alarm Systems in the greater Boston area. With focus on providing technical service to customer's Fire Alarm systems, including technical support during the installation and commissioning of new or expanded systems, y ou will help shape and influence the smart buildings of tomorrow!

You will be given the opportunity to:

·  Coordinate with electricians and general contractors in the process of installing systems
·  Perform system commissioning on systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary
·  Respond and carry out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs to assigned customer systems
·  Ensure company-owned test equipment and installation equipment is in proper working order
·  Identify code issues and non-conformance issues
·  Make recommendations regarding both systems installations and service contract facilities
·  Participate in On-Call assignments/ schedules on a team rotational basis

What you need to bring:

·  Associate's Degree preferred, although a combination of education (a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is a minimum requirement) and related field experience will also be considered
·  Experience with the installation and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, preferably 2+ years
·  Electrician experience desired
·  A Massachusetts Journeyman's Electrical License desired, however, candidates with Fire Alarm Technician experience who are pursuing their license will also be considered.
·  Strong customer service skills; good verbal and written communications skills; skilled in common PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
·  Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds unassisted
·  A valid Driver's license in good standing with limited violations, along with being at least 21 years of age, in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan
·  Legal authorization for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship to work in the United States
