Job Description:

The Siemens US Summer Intern Program is designed as a pipeline of talent into entry-level programs. As an Engineering Leadership Development Program Intern, you'll have the opportunity to get hands on experience in a company with over 60,000 employees in the US. At the end of your internship, you will be evaluated for the Engineering Leadership Development Program and other Entry-Level Opportunities.

As a part of the Engineering Leadership Development Program, you could be one of our future Engineering leaders and will have the chance to help create and implement new products, technologies, and applications while collaborating with other brilliant minds in business, government and industry. Your ideas help shape a better future for everyone.
Engineering Leadership Development Program
The Engineering Leadership Development Internship in a 13 week program in which you will be assigned assignments and undergo formal training providing you with the exposure, network, and practical experience you will need to discover your own personal version of success and add value throughout your internship.
The internship provides business assignments with a support infrastructure of experienced engineering managers, giving you the tools to assimilate and develop effective workplace competencies. Specific work assignments will involve a wide range of functions, including product design, feasibility analysis, quality assurance, manufacturing, project management, service, product management, applications engineering and supply chain management. Your internship will be based upon specific business needs and your demonstrated results and abilities.

Career Track: Upon successful completion of the internship program, you may have the opportunity to be considered for the full-time rotational program the following year to become one of the following - Design Engineer, Application Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Hotline Support, Product Marketing Specialist, New Product Introduction Leader (Small to Medium)or Sales Engineer.

Qualifications:

Minimum GPA: 3.0
Education: - Undergraduate student in junior year pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August 2020
- Organized, self-motivated, good communication skills, problem solver
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and excellence
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
