As the Engineer you will be supporting the Engineering Team Leader, providing supervision for shift engineers, whilst delivering a high quality service to meet customer expectations.

This is a role covering night shifts, working Monday to Thursday nights, 8 pm to 6 am. This will be a site independent role, based on customer sites therefore ideal location in terms of a reasonable commute to customer sites would be Canary Wharf and surrounding areas.

Your typical night shift will consist of but not be limited to:

· 
Ensuring Service / Commissioning tasks for Fire/security Systems are completed to the latest CWI / British standards.

· 
Assisting Team Leader with onsite H&S requirements

· 
Delivering Team Tool box talks

· 
Mentor and provide technical support to service engineers

· 
Conduct Vehicle, Equipment & Process Audits

· 
Assist Engineering Team Leader with regular minuted team meetings

· 
Delivering to the customer our service contractual obligations and working closely with operational team to ensure retention of service contracts.

· 
Complete all required paperwork/administration tasks in accordance with required timescales

· 
Identify service team opportunities to develop MAC leads on service sites

· 
Identify service and sales team opportunities to migrate obsolete systems to Siemens equipment.

· 
Attend and repair fault calls / achieve first time fix / Responsible for closure of attended faults

· 
Participate in the company call-out rota as required

What you need to make real what matters.

· 
Electrical qualification HNC/ NVQ/ City Guilds or equivalent experience in electrical engineering

· 
Health and Safety Awareness (IOSH managing safety) preferred

· 
SSSTS-CSCS skills card or equivalent

· 
Ability to work at heights (IPAF) or equivalent

· 
Emergency First Aid (preferred)

· 
Must hold full UK driving license

· 
Ideally have trained in – Intruder, Access control, CCTV - Galaxy, Bosch, IP etc.

· 
Networks BS5839 part 1-8, 9, BS6266, Networks (preferred)
