Then come and join our global team as DevOps Engineer (m/f/diverse) for a Data Lake Platform to create innovative, data-based solutions for our self-service analytics platform in the cloud.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

·  You will be responsible for the setup and operation of a Big Data Analysis platform in alignment with various internal stakeholders
·  You will contribute to the solution architecture and development of our Cloud Data Lake
·  You will ensure smooth deployment/operation of the Cloud production system
·  You will develop, implement and operate data flows (e.g. ETL)
·  You will engineer and automate our Cloud environments for security, reliability, monitoring and scale
·  You will pro-actively identify and implement improvements to maintain optimal system performance

Your qualifications and experience:

·  You have a master's degree in Computer Science or in an equivalent discipline
·  You have several years of experience in the field of Cloud Services, e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and have worked in cross-functional teams
·  We would also welcome applications from candidates who hold a bachelor's degree or have completed a vocational training course and further training with additional professional experience in these areas
·  You have experience as a Software Developer or DevOps Engineer
·  You have know-how in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g. shell, Ruby, Powershell) and knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C#, Java)
·  You have practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or virtualized environment
·  You have database schema management skills and web application management skills are a plus
·  You have basic knowledge of various database technology and tools (e.g. SQL)

·  You are results-driven with the ability to take initiative
·  You can handle multiple parallel tasks by shifting priorities to meet deadlines
·  You liaise closely with project managers and development team members to understand technical requirements and to develop solutions accordingly
·  You are a team player and are able to demonstrate influencing and relationship-building skills with clients, partners and people from various backgrounds and cultures
·  You have good communication skills and the ability to interact with project managers and operation teams
·  Your fluent English enables you to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in an international environment. Ideally, you also have good German language skills for communicating with your German-speaking stakeholders
