Job Description

Position Overview

Water is a critical element in offshore, onshore, upstream and downstream activities within the oil and gas industry. Siemens Water Solutions addresses water and wastewater needs of the industry with a portfolio that includes physical and chemical separation, biological treatment, and complex hydrothermal technologies. We are looking for professional, talented individuals to help us address the needs of our oil and gas industry customers, now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed drawings, including but not limited to P&ID's (Cadworx), 3D process piping (Cadworx), steel structures (Tekla), tanks, pressure vessels (Inventor) and electrical design (AutoCAD). Creation of bill of materials with part numbers on fabrication drawings required. Must be familiar with welding processes & symbols used on drawings. Must also be skilled in reading drawings and be able to do material takeoffs.

In addition to having the detailed design capabilities listed, the successful candidate must be able to work well with others and be experience at interfacing with clients and vendors.Must have the capability to manage and provide oversite to 3rd Party design resources.Must be able to travel internationally, including the Middle East and India.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·  Associates degree, bachelor's in mechanical design or applicable related experience. HS diploma or equivalent required.
·  Must be familiar with the high spec industrial market.
·  Working knowledge of Cadworx, Tekla, Inventor, and AutoCAD
