Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will review, analyze and evaluate business systems, enhancement requests, and processes. You'll identify value-add and cost-reduction opportunities as well as implement recommendations, primarily via automation, to improve and support business activities. You will utilize systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.

Part of your responsibility will also be to gather and evaluate requirements from internal customers, work with internal and external technical resources to determine options, develop business cases, plans and designs business specifications and processes, documents associated IT system requirements. You will also define requirements for and supports system implementation testing and change request management.

Manage small and medium-sized projects: determine project requirements, develop and monitor project plan, ensure project activities occur per plan, perform project activities, manage project documentation, testing, communication, and training. Document programming requirements for ongoing system refinements. Provide ongoing post-implementation support.

Areas of Responsibility:

· 
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats

· 
Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

· 
Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications

· 
Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements

· 
Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models

· 
Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes

· 
Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes

· 
Design and co-ordinate User Acceptance and System testing

· 
Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

· 
Partner with Internal SFS customers, SFS Management, Sales Leadership and Sales force, Operations teams, Asset Management, Portfolio, Accounting, Controls, Siemens Corporate tax

Required Knowledge, Skills & Education

· 
Strong analytical skill

· 
Knowledge of the Leasing Industry, specifically lease accounting, pricing, tax and asset management.

· 
Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, at technical and non-technical levels to Senior Management and peers

· 
Strong attention to detail

· 
Ability to successfully multitask, demonstrating strong organizational skills

· 
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint

· 
Knowledge of SieSmart and Cassiopae

· 
Minimum of 5-7 years of Leasing Industry experience

· 
Knowledge of IFRS

· 
Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred or similar experience
