Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team at ASCO Power Technologies as a Warehouse Supervisor that will be working in our site at Stamford, UK and reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

ASCO (Automatic Switch Company) Power Technologies is a business unit of Schneider Electric that manufactures and sells transfer switches, power control systems, surge protection devices, load banks and industrial control products for business-critical continuity.

ASCO Loadbank are world leaders in the design and manufacture of power test equipment. Established in 1947 ASCO Loadbank (N J Froment & Co Ltd) are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and have a rich history of providing best-in-class precision engineered products.

Your Mission:

Making efficient use of available resources to satisfy output requirements and assist in identifying areas of improvements. Proactively review Stores (warehouse) areas to optimise layout, space and storage efficiency.

Your main responsibilities include:

Carrying out Stock Takes as required and ongoing perpetual inventory checks, ensuring reason for variances have been identified and Stock updated accordingly.

·
Working as a team member, being adaptable and able to work with minimum direction. Keeping all team members and managers informed of all relevant issues.

·
Management of all stock movement including service and supplier stock locations

·
Ensuring the security and accurate control of all materials from receiving, to kitting, and despatch of finished goods and spares.

·
Accurate processing of Customer, and Goods Returns.

·
Loading and unloading vehicles ensuring deliveries are receipted, entered and stored correctly.

·
Completing all work to the required standard in an acceptable time. Accurately complete all required documentation for compliance against quality and compliance requirements.

·
Contributing to the planning, organisation, operation and implementation of all new processes and equipment within the Stores.

About you:

·
Previous experience around 5 years in Warehouse Supervision role in an Engineering environment is essential.

·
You need to have experience in team management

·
You need to be competent in the use of MRP/ERP stock management software

·
You will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic person.

·
Solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

·
Excellent communication skills

·
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must have.

·
Excellent PC Skills including advanced/expert level in Excel.

·
Strong numeracy skills

·
Clean UK Driving License

·
Formal Warehouse management training with a Diploma in Warehousing and Storage (QCF), or similar (preferred)

·
SAP Business One (preferred)

Certifications:

·
You should have Fork lift qualifications – 7.5t Balance Truck and Reach Truck (preferred)
