What do you get to do in this position?

This job requires upkeep and Maintenance of the entire shop facility including Outside Lot and other surrounding areas. Job will include making sure shop facility is clean and organized, insure all skids are sorted and stored properly and that all trash is taken out daily.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to drive both sit down and stand up fork-trucks

General cleaning of the shop area's and keeping it maintained and in good condition.

Empty and clean all trash receptacles, inside and outside.

Sweep and Mop floors as needed and daily use of floor scrubber.

Replace Floor Tape as needed in all areas of the shop.

Maintaining and cleaning all shop equipment

Maintain back parking lot and save and organize usable skids and stack and dispose of broken ones.

Removes all debris from lot.

Be a champion in the Schneider Go Green Initiative and insure all recycling is being done properly.

Notify Management of repairs that need to be made.

Insure that snow removal around all doors, steps, front walk is cleaned and clear as necessary.

Understands and complies with OSHA Right to Know and other federal, state and local regulations.

Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.

Assist as needed in Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving area.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

High School Diploma or approved GED is required.
