Looking for an exiting new design opportunity? Schneider Electric is looking for an intermediate or senior product designer to join our global Digital Energy division. To thrive in this role, you'll have 3+ years of design experience under your belt, fluency with UI/UX principles and common design tools, and strong communication skills.

In our division within Schneider Electric, we develop many types of products, ranging from devices with embedded displays to enterprise-level web-based software. We'll need your strategic thinking and collaborative design skills at every stage of our product R&D process. · Connect with customers to deeply understand their true needs and top pain-points. Map out customer journeys and experiences for key scenarios.

· Apply design thinking skills on a variety of products (i.e.: devices with embedded displays, or enterprise-level web-based software), keeping a keen eye on opportunities to step in and step up.

· Collaborate with a global team to build products that you feel proud about.

· Participate in design reviews, sharing, and brainstorms.

· Work with business and technical stakeholders to visualize longer-term project visions and define shorter-term scope requirements.

· Respectfully decline the status quo and push both colleagues and stakeholders outside their comfort zones.

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

3+ years of product design experience in an intermediate or senior lead role.

· Fluent of UI/UX principles, best practices, and common design tools (Photoshop/Sketch/Figma).

· A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills.

· A natural inclination to take the lead and help everyone arrive at a deeper understanding and greater appreciation of the work.

· Fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple UIs.

· Engaged with current and upcoming desktop and mobile best practices, developments and trends in web and mobile design.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver compelling design rationales in both customer and internal contexts.

· Comfortable with ambiguity from customers and stakeholders that lead to more questions than answers.

· Motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team.
