We have a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a ICP Sales Engineer , focusing on driving the Schneider solution to improve efficiencies for existing, and new customer base.

Mission

Schneider Electric has industry leading solutions, with excellent knowledge and innovation. This role will join the Energy ICP Sales Team who currently span different industry segments including ICPs, IDNOs, Rail and Oil & Gas. Excited by the market leading solutions Schneider can offer, and working in collaboration with other business units, you will be expected to develop strong relationships with our existing customer base, with the autonomy and empowerment to develop, drive and grow a new customer base.

You must have innovation and passion, with great experience of identifying and influencing senior key decision makers (up to C Level) to enable the growth of our 2019 commercial strategy. The successful candidate will receive support from very knowledgeable internal technical teams and our segment specialists to help them exceed the segment growth targets.

Schneider have numerous offices across the UK and this role will require UK travel however we are looking for the right person so are flexible on location (including home) so long as you have the passion to drive our growth!

Main Responsibilities:

Be a Schneider advocate and build key, successful relationships within the industry, at the right level to at least achieve, if not exceed both business and personal targets.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· Demonstrable experience of successfully selling Energy Solutions by influencing specifications within Distribution Sector is ideal.

· Strong Account management skills to enable development and growth of existing accounts, as well as identification of new business opportunities

· Articulate, commercially savvy and capable of empowered thinking is essential; we don't want to micro-manage our sales team, we want them to have the desire to achieve their targets in a supportive, empowered environment.

· Whilst we like professional and educational qualifications, these are not essential, so long as you can demonstrate a proven track record of success

· Experience of selling within a large, matrix organisation would be beneficial, combined with excellent stakeholder management and the capability to collaborate internally would be great.
