Quality Technician / Quality Inspector.
Description
Within the Prefabricated Data Centers Unit we have identified the need to have in West Chester Factory a Quality inpection/supervisor position located in the site having close short-interval interactions downstream with Quality Manager, Production and Industrialization leader.
We look for a Quality Inspector profile ideally with Quality Controls and Electrical background capable to lead on Quality Controls, Production Quality engagement, supplier validation and delivery control.
Able to engage teams on Quality globally.
Location West Chester.
This position will support Prefab Unit to implement grow on Quality mentality, end to end.
Scopes and responsibilities (QC: Quality Control)
- QC incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials or discussing what to do with the stakeholders.
- QC in-process production by confirming specifications; communicating required adjustments to production supervisors.
- QC finished products by confirming specifications; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs and maintains all the records.
- Share and reporting quality problems or findings to stakeholders and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Job requirements and qualifications
Experience in industrial environments.
Technical degree (Engineering or other).
Preferably 2 years of experience in Quality Departments.
Some experience in Safety.
Skills and abilities required
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Technical background
Problem Solving/Analytical. Initiative.
Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings and diagrams.
Communication skills with everyone involved in the process (managers, operators and leads).
Electrical background / Strong electrical knowledge is a plus
