What is the role?

Based in Gepps Cross, Adelaide , we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our growing Digital Buildings Business . This role will see you lead all technical aspects of the solution (such as architecture & systems) during execution phases, working closely with the Project Manager in elaborating alternative solutions during change order management.

Working at multiple client sites across the Adelaide metropolitan area and regionally, you will become part of a passionate team that provides outstanding service and support to our clients.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to;

· Working with IP Networks / ICT system configurations to support the execution of Schneider's building control systems;
· Implementing HVAC and BMS solutions to multiple client sites using BACnet, MODBus, LON and web services;
· Develop points lists, product selections, functional descriptions and control diagrams and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications;
· Fault finding and problem-solving on technical issues as they arise;
· Assist the Project Manager in elaborating alternative solutions during change order management;
· Contribute to meet the project objectives in scope, schedule and cost.

· Tertiary or trade qualifications in a related discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic);
· Working knowledge and interest in controller, networking & communications hardware and software and conceptual design;
· Proven track record of successfully delivering large / complex projects in industries such as construction or allied services;
· Minimum two years' experience in specialties such as; IP Network Set Up, HVAC systems or BMS;
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work both autonomously or as a member of a team;
· Strong desire to build a long term career by learning and developing technical knowledge and skills;
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and highly proficient with MS Office (Excel and Visio);
· A valid Australian Driver's License.
