Power System Engineer

We are looking for Power System Engineer to develop and enhance the Power Management System for our microgrid solutions.

What you will do:

Pre-sales (15%)

· Listen and understand customer needs to support business developer (s)

· Present technically Schneider Electric microgrid offer to customers

· Size microgrid with dedicated simulation tools

· Define and propose suitable architectures (electrical and communication)

Tendering activities (50%)

· Review customer specifications documents and prepare compliance matrix with Schneider Electric offer

· Coordinate internally the technical scope with commercial front office and manage internal approval process

· Consolidate microgrid work package with other components from other internal business units and / or external stakeholders

· Support tendering manager for the offer preparation (engineering time and required hardware)

· Prepare planning of delivery / execution

R&D activities associated with Internal training for new solutions deployment (20%)

· Be the main technical point of contact between Line of Business R&D innovation and the Asia Pacific Region

· Train internally for new R&D offer tendering and execution Teams

· Coordinate with the Line of Business activity to participate in new offer development

Execution support (15%)

· Support execution team for commissioning activities in his area of background (Power Systems)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Experience and skills we are looking for:

·  Minimum 5 years of field technical experience with deep competencies in electrical engineering.
·  Has excellent comprehension of the stability of an electrical system and will be able to understand and take in hand microgrid controller algorithms.
·  Knowledge in Gensets / Solar, storage technical behaviors and commissioning
·  Ability to work in an international context with external partners and Schneider Electric French R&D Centre.
·  Previous experience in tendering and / or microgrid commissioning and field experience in this area would be nice to have.
·  Availability to travel in Asia Pacific zone and Europe.
