OCP Procurement Engineer for Metals

Job description

The OCP Procurement Engineer will be responsible for strategic purchasing of metal commodities in terms of cost, negotiation, business share allocation, alternate sourcing, supplier management to achieve maximum benefits thru proper utilization of system resources and effective control.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

- Minimum Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/welding)

- Minimum 2 year(s) work experience in Purchasing

- With expertise in purchasing Sheet metal fabricated parts preferably from large manufacturing sector & capable to

manage high purchasing spend

- Experience & knowledge in evaluating & analyzing costing of metal parts using Stamping, CNC ,progressive

process.

- Should have adequate knowledge on Raw Materials trends & process cost models.

- Hands on experience on ERP (ORACLE, SAP etc) is an added advantage.

- Knowledge on AutoCAD, Solidworks is required

- should have good negotiation , communication and analytical skills.

- willing to travel local and/or International as required.

- must be amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite.
