Job Description:
The Marketing Budget Analyst is instrumental in maximizing budgeting and spending efficiency for the Field Marketing team. In addition to budget management and analysis, the Analyst will assist in the planning (marketing planning tool) and alignment with the AMSP to achieve key business objectives.


General Responsibilities:


· Inform Strategic Marketing Business Partners (SMBP) of due dates for the submission of budget items
· Act as an advisor to SMBPs in formulating their budget submissions
· Review proposed Quarterly budget submissions for accuracy and completeness. Ensure submissions align with corporate goals, strategies and legal regulations.
· Examine whether budget submissions can be achieved based on known constraints and inform SMBPs of potential problem areas
· Confirm submissions and subsequent spend are categorized accurately
· Develop and maintain financial models and budget tracking sheets
· Track POs, corresponding invoices and payments
· Detailed quarterly forecasts by SMBP
· Follow up with purchase and accounts payable department as needed
· Provide timely, accurate reporting and analysis on a scheduled basis of the status and availability of funds
· Improve financial status by analyzing results, variances, identifying trends and areas of concern. Recommend actions to management to ensure conformance to budgetary limits and strategy
· Update the budget model as requested to account for significant changes in the business environment
· Reconcile all transactions; partner with finance to ensure accurate accruals and close process
· Ad-hoc analyses based on request
· Ensure marketing mix according to global marketing ambition
· Interaction with NAM marketing operations to ensure dashboard availabilty

Requirements:
·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance or relevant field
·  Fluent English
·  Recently graduated
·  Understanding of budgeting and regulatory requirements
·  Excellent MS Excel skills
·  Independent worker with excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
·  Must have effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
·  Attention to detail and good organization skills is a must
