Position Summary:

We seek an enthusiastic, creative and thorough energy market analyst excited about the opportunity to provide value, opportunities and innovation to the NEO Network and our customers via data and technology.

This Market and Membership Development Analyst will work with stakeholders across business to develop a strong understanding of renewable energy and energy efficiency opportunities and convert that into actionable information for the NEO Network team and clients. The role will require research and cross team interaction developing relationships with market experts around the world. Additionally the role will engage with clients both face to face and virtually to understand their needs and develop content for the NEO Network platform to enhance their engagement.

This person will be able to comfortably discuss business needs and technology solutions; assisting in driving and prioritizing competitive enhancements and solutions. As an energy market matter expert, the individual will provide education and support when appropriate, as well as identifying opportunities to make product or service suggestions based on a customer's needs. Ability to code complex logic is an absolute must for this job. Just “using the tool” will not cut it.

Travel will be 15% or less and based in Louisville, Ky.

Position responsibilities:

· Lead and produce research and identify renewable energy and energy efficiency opportunities for clients around the world and communicate these to clients and the NEO Network team.
· Write, maintain and digitize market reports to be hosted on the NEO Network Platform.
· Develop applications to engage clients with market data and offers on the NEO Network platform.
· Participate with the NEO Network team to continually evolve and improve the platform functionality.
· Initiate and interact with NEO Network clients on a regular basis.
· Collaborate with client and internal teams to enhance member experiences including event coordination
· Design, develop, deploy and maintain efficiency benchmarking and other related tools
· Collaborate with external software partners to design and develop new distributed energy resource calculators for client use and NEO Network deployment.
· Onboard new members into the platform including system set up

Qualifications :

Essential skills and qualifications:

·  3-5+ years experience working in a procurement or product development role operating in MULTIPLE electricity markets
·  Strong background in data and modelling.
·  Ability to design and develop solutions that customers intuitively understand and love
·  Strong communication skills – written and spoken
·  Desire to learn about renewable energy world wide
·  Cultural flexibility
·  Client facing presentation skills
·  Bachelor's degree from accredited University




Preferred but nonessential skills and qualifications:

·  Advanced Visualization skills (Qlik)
·  Multi lingual
