What do you get to do in this position?

Position Summary

·
Dedicated to determining the time required to manufacture a product through the utilization of an appropriate method.

·
Prescribing the necessary detailed process steps using appropriate gestures (ergonomics). Contribution to the entire time management process including product costing, performance animation & performance calculation. Strong contributor to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
·
Be the “Time determination & Ergonomics Specialist/Referent” within the plant. Use EQUINOX as the standard tool for time measurements.

·
Study, propose and validate the development of new workstations

·
Optimize the organization of existing workstations, propose actions to improve industrial efficiency (IE, SUR).

·
Set the operating modes and the corresponding times, including ergonomic rules. Validate with operators.

·
Contribute to the Occupational Risk Assessment with IST4

·
Perform full ergonomics diagnoses: Physical, Cognitive and Organizational, with a multi-functional team. Manage the corrective action plan. Usage of OCRA tool whenever possible.

·
Build training plans on the operating modes in collaboration with the manufacturing team leaders

·
In case of manual processes, validate the operators after training

·
Contribute to the development of new products (time referential and ergonomics feedback in early stages. Hand-off approval of plant or DC at Pilot phase)

·
Collaborate with SERE and nurse in the elaboration of all deliverable documents related to ergonomics (risk assessments, diagnoses, action plans)

·
Data ownership : Manage in the ERP the updating of all standard times when modifications are required according to productivity rules

Requirements

· 
Minimum of Associates Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology

· 
Methods-Time Measurement Certification will be required within one (1) year of appointment

· 
1-2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

· 
Must be able to have flexibility as work schedule may include some weekends

· 
Basic Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Concepts
