In House Legal Counsel Responsibilities:

Work on a wide range of commercial matters to support the NAM organizations, many of which contain international elements.

· Prepare & review tenders & contracts & lead negotiations.
· Prepare templates.
· Provide claims support and oversee litigation.
· Provide training and facilitate our compliance programs.
· Other local legal support as reasonably required by Legal Management.

We are looking for lawyer with 3 to 5 years' experience to operate as In-House Legal Counsel in our fast-paced legal team. You must be able to work proactively and closely with the business and have excellent legal and communication skills.

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as Legal Counsel based in our offices in the Northeastern United States.

Your mission:

You will be responsible for delivery of legal services to our NAM operations as part of a larger global legal team, working alongside other Legal Counsel and reporting to Assistant General Counsel in the US. You will operate as a key business partner to provide high quality legal services and strategic legal support and advice.

In House Legal Counsel Qualifications:

· A licensed attorney authorized to practice in at least one jurisdiction in the US and at least 3 to 5 years' experiences in commercial law, and preferably in Digital/IT, Energy, Construction, Process Automation or Renewables & Environment sectors.
· Fluent in English (written and verbal) and PC literate.
· In-house experience is preferred although not essential.
· Able to identify & analyze critical business issues & apply legal expertise to deliver solutions.
· Confident with strong interpersonal skills, customer focused, commercially minded, highly organized & able to work effectively in teams.
· Able to work proactively and independently manage workload
