Job Title : Legal Counsel (Attorney)

Location: West Kingston, RI

Duties and responsibilities

· Perform a variety of legal activities, with a primary focus on transactional work including drafting, analyzing and negotiating commercial sales contracts of varying scope and complexity.

· Work directly with internal clients, as well as with Schneider customers and partners, to negotiate and finalize sales contracts.

· Ensure that contract terms conform to legal and business requirements and company policies.

· Provide legal support to internal clients in the resolution of commercial disputes.

· Help to identify and coordinate all necessary internal contract approvals.

This job might be for you if:

· J.D. with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in commercial transactions, including product and service sales and some software licensing experience.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with limited supervision.

· Must be a team player who is adaptable, collaborative, and has a good sense of humor.

· Travel may be required (10% or less).
