We are seeking an Import Export Supervisor – Tijuana Plant.

This leadership position is in charge of the import-export operation, ensuring on time delivery and good customer service to our internal and external customers, supervises the customs broker efficient operation. Always looks for better ways to reduce time in processes and non-necessary payment of duties/contingencies. Coaches and develops direct reports and ensures adherence to applicable Laws and Regulations.

The purpose of the position is to ensure compliance with US and Mexico import and export laws and regulations; support daily traffic operations from US and Mexico as well as operational objectives related to globalization initiatives; maximize savings through duty minimization programs, increase the efficiency of import and export administration and assist FTA, VOCC and Tax & Customs departments to reduce Costs & Risks according to the law.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant course of study such as International Trade, Business, Economics, Information Technology or Finance.

2. Minimum 5 years of strong experience in Customs processes for manufacturing operations and IMMEX programs.

3. Proven and successful experience supervising & developing direct reports.

4. Talent management, effective recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor execution.

5. Knowledge of MX - US import and export control regulation is required.

6. English and Spanish. Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

7. Classification experience (HTS and basics of ECCN).

8. Free Trade Agreements in deep.

9. PC Software literacy. Intermediate - Advanced level.

10. In trade, Integration Point, Symphony, CDM, SAP, Coda, Digest, Access & SQL as competitive advantages.

11. Knowledge and experience of duty minimization programs.

12. Compliance & results oriented.
