Job description



Purpose of the job:

To drive territory revenue in Algeria. The candidate will take ownership of the retail sales for Algeria and will be entirely dedicated to driving long term success. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 4 years of experience and proven sales track record with a robust network in the Electrical Retail Market. We are looking for someone that can make a significant impact on day one by having the ability to build, negotiate and close deals and has the skills to lead, motivate and gain the respect of Channel Partners and Retailers.

Job responsibilities:
· Development of Redistribution Network in Algeria to meet and exceed ambitious sales revenue goals.
· Develop Customer Database (POS, Whole Sellers and Electricians)
· Establish Tier 2 and Tier 3 Contacts in the Electrical N/w
· Prepare 2 years business plan for Retail for each region in Algeria
· Establishing and Developing the existing and new Distribution Networks across all major cities in Algeria
· Plan and execute POS Activation in coordination with Sales Manager and Tier 1 Partners.
· Full coordination & Follow up with Country Support Team in China regarding the Sales orders, from the date of placing the order and up to its delivery to our distributors and customers.
· Track Secondary Sales through POS
· Continuously monitor competitors' activities and gain Market Intelligence in terms of Offer, Promotion and Activations
· Enhance Himel brand awareness in the Market

Qualifications :

Essential Professional Experience:

·  3 -4 years in Electrical Product / FMCG Redistribution role
·  Regional Experience in Algeria
·  Good Distributors' Management Experience with the ability to build strong and committed relationships with Distributors, customers and external partners.
·  Entrepreneur mindset and strong appetite for growth

Desirable Qualifications
·  A wide network of contacts in the Electrical Market.
·  Worked in leading companies or their Distributor in the Electrical Industry (CHINT, ABB, Legrand, LS)
·  Experience in penetrating New Markets.

Personal Skills
·  Ability to be flexible and responsive in the demanding environment of a start-up organization
·  Good communication and presentation skills
·  Self motivated and accustomed to performing and meeting Targets
·  Result-oriented
·  Willing to work under pressure.

Education background:
·  Graduate / Diploma
Others:
·  Fluent in Arabic & English
·  Computer Skills: MS Office
