Summary

This position is accountable for site intervention, troubleshooting and major technical issue support. The incumbent will provide technical support as UPS products, both in the shop and on site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role. He/she will provide technical instruction and guidance to new and less experienced FSR. He/she will support site intervention such as quality issue, customer relationship risk. Analyze and complete malfunctions in equipment through global technical escalation and interpret root cause based on knowledge of electrical. He/she must be able to take expert job such as making documations, delivery solution within fixed period. Identify sales opportunities to propose new solution into our market and submit them to sales teams. Any intervention will have to be prepared and executed based on safety guidelines (safety training, safety audit, etc.)

Responsibilities

Ÿ Provide outstanding product guideline and solution

Ÿ Advise customers on best proposal, new solution and upgrade opportunities

Ÿ Technical support on equipment based on the Schneider Electric product as UPS

Ÿ Submit digital opportunity detected during his/her interventions

Ÿ Leads or contributes to Field Services Representative small projects coordination on technical base.

Ÿ Support with technical base of UPS/Electrical to quotation team

Ÿ Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other service documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

Ÿ Should be able to perform basic audits of customer's electrical systems based on UPS product

Ÿ Support official letter to be required all information about technical inquiry

Ÿ Support on defective product (UPS) from site about quality issue to find root cause through co-work with quality team.

Ÿ Technical assist on inquire from Schneider Electric Service Partners about evaluating technical and professional performance.

Ÿ When at customer site, looks for other business opportunities outside current scope of work and lead them to the sales team

Ÿ Is in permanent relation with his planner/coordinator for smooth execution of his intervention

Ÿ He/She can visit on site to investigate to verify root cause and gathering all information

Qualifications :

Requirements

Ÿ Associate degree in UPS product with at least 10 year of related experience, or have more than 10 years equivalent experience in a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience

Ÿ High level of technical knowledge of electrical component theory. Knowledge of UPS systems and applicable application software knowledge is preferred.

Ÿ Must be able to perform duties with technical advisor as UPS's expert engineer.

Ÿ Must operate within division policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives

Ÿ Must comply and understand with all safety policies on site intervention

Ÿ Ability to advise as UPS expert engineer to solve matter

Ÿ Ability to take documents job such as excel, word, PPT fluently

Ÿ Ability to lead issue of customer relationship risk

Ÿ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret based on UPS, electrical system when problem happened

Ÿ Ability to write official letter included solution

Ÿ Ability to take answer about technical questions from FSR, Sales team, Customers.

Ÿ Ability to calculate based on electrical system of UPS

Ÿ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions about UPS products

Ÿ Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Ÿ Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.

Ÿ Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ÿ Must be able to communicate in English (speak, hear and write) effectively to various intellectual levels.

Ÿ Verifiable hands-on technical work experience required on UPS

Ÿ Understanding relevant experience with critical systems infrastructure equipment (i.e. electrical switchgear, diesel generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, fire detection/ suppression or building monitoring systems).

Ÿ Possess a valid driver's license.
