Position: Field Service Engineer, Osaka

Summary:
Perform on-site maintenance, technical analysis, repair, commissioning, testing of Medium voltage and Low voltage Schneider Electric Solar Products.
1. Represent SE Solar service excellence to customers in Japan
2. Provide after sales support to the Schneider Electric Medium Voltage Solar products (Transformers, RMU and Switchgear) and low voltage solar products (Inverters, array boxes, SCADA).
3. Ensure that all service work in delivered efficiently, effectively and safely.
4. Attend to critical issues at key sites and manage customer relationships

Job Description:
Main responsibility:
• Expert-level Maintenance and repair of LV/MV Inverters, RMU, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers and protection systems
• Expert-level Installation, testing and commissioning of LV/MV equipment, including the programming testing and commissioning of protection relays
• Expert Support requests for warranty inspections and rectification
• Workshop testing of LV/MV equipment.
• Workshop repair of failed or damaged components
• Field repair of failed or damaged components
• Investigate, inspect, test and writing technical report accurately and timely
• Ensure equipment & tools are functional, calibrated and available for services delivery.
• Identification and reporting of new business on site
• Continual learning and development
• Remote support on holiday (1 - 2 times every month)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirement:
• Electrical testing or servicing experience on Medium Voltage (Transformers, RMU and Switchgear)
• Having Electrical Trade qualification will be added advantage
• Service business excellence knowledge highly desirable
• Frequent traveling locally, may require to be based at near key sites (Driving license is a must)
• Open mindset to work in a global culture
