JOB CONTEXT

As a Facility engineer, you'll be assigned to the Country Real Estate Manager as your line manager.

All the actions and projects that you do will be in support of a real business need, with a direct link to the needs of the organization to support them in their ability to do their job in a sutainable, efficient & comfortable way.

MISSION

Your mission is to provide a pleasant working environment for employees, and to ensure that hygiene and safety and sustainability standards are met on the site.

You will provide Facility Management expertize to optimize building cost & a high service level to the users of the building and the installations.

TASKS

You will:

execute the Facility Management policy on our Uccle Site.

·
take all necessary action in order to assure that internal and external clients have a safe, healthy and comfortbale working environment

·
watch over the respect for the application of the HSE rules by our service providers

·
Set up all necessary audits and inspections to assure the compliancy of our installations and tools

·
follow up and realise the actions that result from audits or inspections.

·
assure day by day operational preparation and follow up of the facility sub activities: cleaning, security, catering, energy management, maintenance on all technical installations, waste management,..

·
advise and support the Site Real Estate Manager on all Facility Services matters

·
assist in the preparation and execution of procedures and SLA's

·
follow up on SLA's, projects and continuous improvement actions

·
compare offers and provide advise on contracts and service agreements

·
plan all necessary interventions by internal and external partners

·
verify that the contracted service providers have the necessary skills and equipment to provide the agreed services

·
coordinate, follow up and evaluate all the actions of the different contractors that are active for the facility services, to that purpose you will develop sustainable relationships with both internal and external partners

·
organise the communication and necessary actions between external and internal partners of the facility services

·
assist in the development, the follow up and the reporting on metrics and KPI ‘s who are related to the Facility Services

·
analyse the performance of our external contractors on operational (including safety & quality) and financial level

·
develop the budget and supervise the financial folluw up of the engagements of the facility services on both short and long term

·
be available for planned or occasional unexpected interventions during nights our weekends

Numerical know-how in order to have an in-depth understanding of business finance and the facility's budgetary needs

· 
Legal understanding

· 
Advanced knowledge of reading, writing and speaking French & Dutch

Basic knowledge of reading, writing and speaking English

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Working on the Site in BRUSSELS (Uccle), a site with a great company legacy and a variated setting. A production entity for LV switchgear, an MV adaptation center, a showroom & training center, a costumer care center, the adminstrative center and base for both our commercial and support functions and all the adjecent installations.
