Your Mission:

To deliver a bespoke, specialist service to an allocated Customer base in line with the corporate visions and values. Support, service, enhancements, repair or replacement of Company products and associated instruments of other manufacturers.

Key responsibilities:

1). Carry out maintenance and support works on Customers sites.

2). Diagnose and repair faults.

3). Carry out modifications to system software and user interface graphical displays.

4). Advise the customers on ways in which Schneider can help them reduce energy consumption and cost.

5). Provide field quotations for customers for repairs and improvement opportunities, and ensure efficient turn around of quotes and completion of work.

6). Complete accurate reports of each visit, detailing all work carried out, dates and times of attendance and other recommendations and observations appropriate to the scope of each visit. Ensure that a copy of the report is presented to the clients at the end of the visit.

7). Be available to join an out-of-hours call-out rota.

8). Ensure issued instruments and tools are in working condition; report any losses or breakages to Regional office in compliance with Health and Safety procedures. Maintain calibration of test equipment

9). Keep in regular contact with customers as well as the Support Administration and planning team.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Installations and/or an ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. We are looking for previous experience and success in a similar support role, previous experience in HVAC controls industry and/or PLC manufacturing or processing industry, and experience working as an electrician in commercial or industrial applications rather than domestic markets
