What do you get to do in this position?

Technical Support Senior Engineer will assist Schneider Electric personnel and customers including electrical distributors, end users, original equipment manufacturers, consultants, and contractors with product selection, configuration and technical support for various electrical distribution and control products. We also provide application and solutions support for Schneider Electric focused segments utilizing our vast product portfolio. Our goal is to ensure a high level of Customer Satisfaction.

Core functions include:

· Provide high level technical support to Schneider Electric's most valued customers and Field Service Engineers in the Latin American countries.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems relating to 3 phase power systems.
· Work with Test & Evaluation, Platform Engineering, and Product Management teams to ensure quality of Schneider Electric products.
· Document problems and help create knowledge articles to help technical support and field engineers to identify and solve issues quickly.
· Implement solutions to problems associated with improper application and installation of 3 Phase systems or components.
· After hours on call support availability.

This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical / Technical Diploma course or 1-2 years related work experience.
·  Prior experience as an electrical specialist preferred.
·  Must be fluent in English & Spanish language.
·  Prior experience in technical repair/maintenance is preferred.
·  Needs to have a strong grasp and understanding of a team environment.
·  Has ability to troubleshoot electronic and 3 phase equipment using schematic or block diagrams.
·  Has ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions for both electrical and customer issues.
·  Can participate well in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
·  Has ability to interpret business and technical procedures
·  Can perform effectively in a fast paced and high pressured environment
·  Has excellent communication skills and networking skills.
