The Zone Sales Director, Solid Tumor Oncology – Libtayo reports to the National Sales Director, Solid Tumor Oncology – Libtayo.  This is a second-line supervisor position with primary responsibility for oversight of the Oncology Field Sales Organization that supports Libtayo.

Responsible for achieving assigned zone and regional goals, and for translating all dimensions of zone and regional marketing plans and strategies into effective sales tactics to be carried out by the Oncology Regional Business Directors in an assigned zone / region.  Work cross-functionally in developing and executing business plans and formulating national strategy and programs. The Zone Sales Director will work closely with their counterparts as well as with the Brand Team to maximize collaboration, continuity, and field pull-through. Priorities include, but are not limited to the following:

·  Lead oncology sales team to the achievement of established goals by ensuring specific individual and team goals are met.
·  Assist in building out the expanded Libtayo sales organization, including recruitment and hiring of a strong sales team for our Libtayo NSCLC and BCC launches.
·  Contribute to a sustained culture of inclusivity, trust, personal value, and professional development.
·  Provide leadership and direction to the oncology sales management team and foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
·  Ensure Regional Business Directors are conducting their duties in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
·  Represent company at professional meetings, conventions, and facilitate POAs, launch meetings and regional meetings.
·  Monitor individual operating budgets and ensure team operates within budget
·  Partner closely with the Marketing organization, internal business partners, and our Regeneron alliance partners to maximize synergies.
·  Differentiate performance, provide feedback, and proactively address performance issues.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor’s Degree Required. MBA or graduate degree preferred
·  Minimum 7-10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including
·  5+ years of sales experience
·  3+ years of experience within Oncology/Hematology - Lung and Skin Cancer experience a plus
·  5+ years of sales leadership (including people leadership) – Oncology experience preferred
·  Broad work experience w/in pharmaceutical / biotech outside of sales is a plus (i.e. Marketing, Value & Access, Account Management, etc.)
·  Second Line Leadership experience is a plus.

·  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
·  Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability
·  A proven track record of field leadership w/in Oncology 
·  Change Agility - Proven ability to work and lead teams in a fast-paced, change oriented environment.
·  Proven ability to function effectively and easily at all levels of the organization
·  High-level influencing and negotiating skills.
·  Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
·  Strong customer focus / orientation including but not limited to KOLs, other healthcare professionals, patients, and patient associations
·  Strong results orientation i.e. has a proactive, business-oriented focus with the resolve to set challenging goals and demonstrate the commitment and persistence to achieve them.

The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire.
