POSITION OVERVIEW

*DAY SHIFT*

Job Title: Warehouse Generalist

Functional Area/Department: Taylor Distribution Center / US Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Fulfill, pack, verify and record the necessary data for all customer orders and requests.

· 
Support team however required to prepare necessary documentation that supports the fulfillment and shipment taskts; including: move tickets, material transfer and requisition forms, packing lists, shipping labels, truck bills, manifests, etc.

· 
Willing to support the required business area based on daily demand: willing to learn and adjust easily with changing priorities.

· 
Candidate must possess organization and precision with inventory control for multiple businesses operating in close proximity of each other.

· 
Offer support in Quality Control team member checks/verifications as required by SOPs.

· 
Assure accurate inventory counts and inventory balance information is maintained and reported using information in the SAP inventory system per Standard Work Instructions/Standard Operating Procedure Instructions.

· 
Assist in assuring a safe working environment.

· 
Adhere to standard operating procedure and department operating procedures.

· 
Practice good housekeeping of work area and equipment used in the fulfillment process.

· 
Attend, participate, & successfully complete all training sessions, safety and/or GMP.

· 
Conduct all activities in a manner that protects human safety, health and the environment. Respect local laws, regulations and Sanofi internal HSE standards – no activity has a greater importance.

· 
Be aware of their and co-workers job risks and know the actions required to control them.

· 
Engage in sound and sustainable environmental practices, exploring reasonable opportunities to minimize energy usage and waste that has an adverse impact on the environment

· 
Engage in HSE training and integrate HSE initiatives into all their work activities.

· 
Take the time to consider the safety consequences of their actions before starting a task

· 
Know how to access Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for the hazardous materials that they work with.

· 
Immediately report accidents/injuries/near misses/spills to their supervisor.

· 
Know the emergency procedures for your work area.

Educational Background

· 
High-school level command of spelling, grammar, and math, and/or basic vocational skills training (e.g., high school diploma, general education degree)

Experience

· 
3-5 years experience
