POSITION OVERVIEW

At Sanofi, we are seeking a new team member to join the Type 2 Immunity and Fibrosis Cluster of the Immunology & Inflammation Therapeutic Area located in Cambridge, MA. You will become part of our discovery and project progression efforts in the preclinical research space. This position will support mechanistic biology activities, including credentialing therapeutic targets for early and late stage programs using in vitro and in vivo immunology skills.

·  Working semi-independently, carry-out experimental studies (immunology, cell biology, ex vivo assays, in vivo pharmacological and molecular biology) for the advancement of therapeutic enabling/validation programs.
·  Plan studies to generate, process and present high-quality data to supervisor /immediate working group/program team. Provide documentation of studies according to Quality SOPs.
·  May be asked to assume other Department responsibilities (e.g. Safety, Quality, Social Committee).
·  We are looking for applicants with laboratory experience in cellular immunology (tissue culture, primary immune cell purification and assays using flow cytometry, ELISA and cytokine multiplex assay systems) and some experiences in vivo pharmacology (small animal handling and manipulation and administration of experimental compounds through intravenous).
·  Successful applicants must be well-organized and detail-oriented. They must have strong record keeping and documentation to comply with Sanofi quality SOPs, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, ability to work productively in a team environment, and the ability to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines with willingness to learn new techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

·  B.S. in Biology or related discipline OR an M.S. with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  In vitro immunology assay development skills
·  Experience with in vivo immunology models and pharmacology
·  Experience with multi-color flow cytometry analysis
·  Strong communication and presentation skills, along with a strong work ethic
·  Motivated to excel in both individual and team environments and to bring a personality to our team environment.
