Requirement for the Role
This position is for both recent graduates and midcareer individuals who are Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident. Candidates should preferably hold a degree business related areas and/or relevant experiences from previous jobs.
Able to commit to the full 9 months training / attachment.

Traineeship/ attachment description
This position reports to the Regional Head of ITS & Digital Procurement for China, Asia and JPAC and interfaces with the respective countries’ ITS Business Partners. The Trainee will be involved in supporting the company in simplifying the procurement process, developing a supplier management program to uplift the performance of key suppliers and to research into digital trends and potential market solutions for Sanofi.
The Trainees will gain exposure to the following functional areas
1. Procurement Purchase-to-Pay process
2. IT Information System: Enterprise hardware, software, applications, service and new digital solutions
3. Legal Framework for commercial contracts/agreements
4. Finance: Budget planning process for IT, baselining of resource needs, P&L reporting
Specific Responsibilities
1. Assist regional buyers in the negotiation of key contracts/projects
2. Review lead-time in procurement process & provide improvement measures, especially in tail-spend
3. Improve on existing Supplier Management Program to uplift performance and service levels of key suppliers
4. Explore local technology startup environment and digital trends, promote solutions within Sanofi
