Procurement Performance Controller

JOB PURPOSE:

·  This position reports to the Head of Reporting Solutions & Data Management within Procurement Excellence.  The mission of the Procurement Performance Controller will be to contribute to the set up and deployment of the Procurement Performance and Analytics tools and processes: global performance consolidation & analysis- Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting

 The role encompasses:

·  Actual COGS performance reporting and global results consolidation:
·  Perform the COGS Actual Performance reporting (Purchasing Price Variance-PPV) for the designated countries/perimeters and keep close contact with local Finance and local Procurement
·  Budget reporting and consolidation:
·  Perform the COGS Budget exercise for the designated countries/perimeters in collaboration with local Procurement, local Finance and local Supply Chain
·  Performance results analysis:
·  Ensure the interlock with Corporate Procurement Performance, Regional Procurement Performance, Global and local procurement and with local Finance
·  Performance reporting tools and data management & BI reporting
·  Performance reporting processes management: identify and implement further areas for process improvement: make proposals, get ready to implement selected programs with appropriate stakeholders and actively participate in transversal projects

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·  Prepare the monthly COGS transactions for a designed perimeter (Data extraction from local ERP, formatting and loading in the Procurement performance reporting tool)
·  Consolidate the global COGS performance as per the reporting calendar, as well as contribute to the preparation and analysis of COGS procurement forecasts
·  Performs data accuracy checks by verifying the main actions generating variations (PPV)
·  Ensures procurement data consistency with finance data and drive data management optimization actions
·  Ensure the COGS data accuracy within the procurement reporting tools (e-store/e-pilot or any other IT procurement tools used for COGS reporting) and strive for optimization and efficiency
·  Analyze the actual COGS performance of Procurement community and prepare centralized global performance comments, which can be used in the managerial decision process
·  Supports, drafts and extracts different performance reports – either ad-hoc or with regular frequency, and sends them to the concerned recipients (finance, business partners, procurement etc.)
·  Supports the Procurement Category managers for data analysis, in various categories
·  Acts as a liaison between the regional value creation controllers, Global Procurement Performance team and/or central/local financial controllers
·  Is involved in the non-COGS (indirect spend) Procurement performance methodologies
·  Procurement performance reporting tools administrator - user management, roles assignment, set user profiles, system trainings development and delivery, master data collection, checks and up-loads
·  Contribute to training materials elaboration and performs trainings for the procurement community for tools usage/procedures/methodologies
·  Support the regions/countries in organizing local training session or by delivering on-site or remote trainings regarding performance rules and tools
·  Contribute to SOPs elaboration/up-dates within the Department

REQUIREMENTS:

·  Graduate in Finance / Business Administration, ideally main focus on Controlling
·  Solid experience in Industrial Controlling / Performance Analysis, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
·  Languages: excellent English language skills, Spanish language is an advantage
·  Appetite for IT tools/ applications
·  Computer literacy: Strong knowledge of big data sets management, advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP/other ERP, Business Objects/ Business Warehouse
·  Good understanding of Procurement processes
·  Project management skills and knowledge
·  Programming experience preferred: SQL, Python
·  Forecasting experience using statistics models
