Job description



JOB PURPOSE:

·  To promote, sell, ethically influence and maximise Doctor prescribing of Sanofi products within assigned territories to meet company’s sales objectives and profit objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·  Sales Results
·  Achieve sales targets in the territory while operating within the confines of company policies, approved budget and promotional programs.
·  Monitor sales performance regularly and recommend action plans to ensure achievement of sales.
·  Sales Call Quality
·  Effectively utilise all sales support materials, clinical papers and other multi-channel engagement platforms (e.g. Katridge) to maximise sales call quality.
·  Conduct all sales calls in alignment with the sanofi selling model.
·  Utilise selling skills to change prescribing behaviour.
·  Deliver effective and relevant presentations for assigned territories.
·  Use visual aids appropriately to support key messages and deliver a more effective call.
·  Apply knowledge of all promoted products, key competitor products, major clinical trials, and clinical disease states to maximise sales.
·  Sales Activity
·  Achieve agreed levels of activity on target customers (as per MI Centrix) to maximise sales.
·  Develop new business and maintain existing accounts through regular and frequent contact with target customers.
·  Identify and develop KOLs, both existing and potential, to act as product advocates in line with the strategic marketing direction for the product portfolio.
·  Analyse sales and activity data to monitor and set objectives.
·  Assist in / organise meetings, seminars, group- selling activities (GSA) and continuous medical education (CME) to promote company image and / or product awareness with the objective of achieving sales targets.
·  Maintain activity in line with agreed Business Plan including remote detailing, emailing, round table discussion (RTD)/ CME etc.
·  Ensure effective management of territory by efficient time management, resource utilisation and call frequency rates to meet company requirements.
·  Maintain and update KOL & customer information in MI Centrix.
·  Sell the benefits of sanofi products to target customers within assigned territories according to sales and marketing strategies
·  Stakeholder Management
·  Disseminate convincingly product information to doctors, physicians, pharmacists and nurses using the prescribed product positioning, promotional messages and set objectives.
·  Adapt to customers styles to ensure a more effective call.
·  Provide and gain relevant information to and from customers.
·  Develop sustainable business relationships based on customer needs and preferences.
·  Maintain regular contact with local medical organisations, pharmacies and special interest groups.
·  Provide feedback to the company on relevant matters such as competitors, industry and market issues.
·  Cross functional collaboration - maintain and develop key internal relationships to ensure optimal competitor intelligence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·  Bachelor’s degree from any discipline
·  Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
·  IT literate and familiarity with CRM systems and practices. Tech savvy and demonstrate the ability to utilize and navigate and instruct customers to use digital resources remotely (via phone or digital tools) (eg. TC facilities, mobile app, webinar, etc.)
·  Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy/ Science. Alternatively, extensive pharmaceutical sales experience.
·  Driver’s License
