Medical Liaison

Job description

Education:

Master degree in medicine, pharmacy or biomedical science

Disease specialization preferred but not required (e.g., equivalent of certified diabetologist)

Experience & knowledge:

1-3 years of experience in a clinical or academic setting, hospital, or industry

Core competencies:

· Leadership

1. Ability to work independently in the field to create expected scientific outcomes for Sanofi

2. Capable of tracking, monitoring and adjusting activity plans to meet specific targets

· Strategic planning and business development

1. Able to identify and understand local scientific leaders in a specific region or area

2. Able to develop individualized plans to engage local scientific leaders in a medical dialogue

· Technical core skills

1. Basic literature & clinical data consolidation & analysis skills

2. Basic understanding of TA / disease area & relevant products preferred

· Other Skills

1. Strong reading skills in English preferred

2. Strong presentation skills and verbal negotiation skills preferred
