Job description



The Manager, Training Management role is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the Protein Sciences Corporation training program to ensure personnel (Meriden CT, Pearl River NY) are properly trained in cGMPs. 

Major responsibilities relate to training business processes, associated tools, and compliance requirements with respect to training program.

 

KEY PURPOSE:

A key purpose of the role is to drive training content generation specific for Protein Sciences Corporation needs using innovative approaches (interactive, digital, workshop-based, etc.) and/or levering training content, internally (SP training academy, SP sites, etc.) and externally (contractors, consultants) to ensure effective and efficient training.  

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This role will manage the deployment of the annual training program and the administration of  computerized training systems, including maintenance of user rights, training content, training curricula, and reports. 

It would also be responsible to stay current with SP guidelines and expectation from regulatory agencies with respect to training content and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum BS degree

Minimum 3 years' experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, such as in the biologics or pharmaceutical industries.

Minimum 1 years’ experience design and developing e-learning and classroom training, preferably in Adult learning

Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel

Must be able to travel between both Protein Science Corporation locations when needed (Meriden CT, Pearl River NY)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Learning Technology, Computer Science or Instructional Technology; Digital Media or Adult education

Experience in training employees regulations or industry compliance practices, preferably cGMP).

Experience and knowledge in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

​Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design standards for adult learning, including needs analysis, curriculum design, learning technologies, blended learning and evaluation and measurement.

Certifications: Training and Development Certification; GMP Certifications

Work with tight timelines and establish priorities
