Job Description
Marketing Development Program (MDP)
MBA Students in the MDP will gain valuable experience by completing a 2 year rotational internship. The rotations are aligned with the Roquette strategy while coupled with the candidate’s personal and career interests and areas of development.
The MDP is responsible for assisting the Global Marketing Team in market planning, directing, and coordinating the development of the market segment strategy. Responsible for a project that will include one of the following: the implementation of a specific promotional campaign or marketing program, the launch of a new product, a market plan for new product positioning, competitive analyses and customer marketing research, and/or guiding the development and implementation of new product by working with the Innovation Team.
Rotational Assignments: Areas of focus and exposure may include, but not limited to:
• Sales
• Channel Management
• Supply Chain
• CTS
• Innovation
Professional Development: This is designed for the candidate to gain exposure and learn from our leaders. Build collaboration amongst their colleagues and create relationships with the other interns.
• Coffee Talks with Leaders

• Demonstrate accomplishments and growth through group projects and presentations.

• Ability to work closely with a Global Marketing team, and assist in implementing the Global Segment Marketing strategy.

• Insight into the exciting world of B2B marketing to the pharmaceutical industry
Responsibilities of the project may include:
• Research and analysis of customers, their value drivers, market needs and interests
• Development of customer projects within the designated/specific segment market
• Direct interface with customers, technology and technical sales to promote designated/specific market segment
• Identification of new opportunities for existing and new products within the designated/specific market
• Communication with diverse functional groups to convey customer and market needs and feedback on market trends
• Implementation of “Go To Market Strategies” (Product / Pricing / Promotion/ Place) within the market area based on customer needs and value drivers
• Contribution to market segments (key drivers, trends, growth, players, needs) and work closely with global marketing
Preferred qualifications
• 2 years of professional or relatable work that is applicable or transferable to a career in marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work across a variety of functions
• Project Management experience and attention to detail
• Passion and Interest in Marketing
