Roquette America’s manufacturing facility in Keokuk, Iowa is an expansive continuous processing corn wet-milling facility that proudly produces corn-based starches, syrups and polyols used in many food and beverage applications as well as in pharmaceuticals, paper products, cosmetics and agricultural goods.

Job Description

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (E&C)

·  Successful applicants must possess skills in the electrical/control area to include a working knowledge of 480 three (3) phase motor control wiring and an understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributive Control Systems (DCS). 
·  A background in instrumentation and process control is a must. Knowledge of medium voltage distribution would be beneficial. 
·  Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience and pass a written and hands-on E&C test.

Essential functions for these positions include, but are not limited to, the ability to perform the following:

·  Positive attitude, self-directed and willing to be challenged
·  Practices behavior based safety and owns the safety culture
·  Work a rotating swing shift in a continuous 7-by-24 production environment
·  Climb stairs and ladders; lift, pull & push weights 50 lbs or more and 100 lbs with assistance
·  Work in temperatures of 100 degrees in some areas with at least 95% humidity
·  Read, interpret & perform instructions; use judgment and deductive reasoning; analyze computer generated inputs and outputs; interpret charts, gauges, dials, digital LCD readouts, etc.
