That is why we come to work every single day. We commit ourselves to scientific rigour, unassailable ethics, and access to medical innovations for all. We do this today to build a better tomorrow.

Pharma Partnering Finance is the Finance Business Partner of Pharma Partnering. We provide comprehensive support for all strategic alliance management activities post deal signing, including alliance controlling for R&D, technology and commercial in-licensed assets, as well as management of Pharma royalty and milestone obligations under these alliances.

Additionally, we help manage the overall Pharma Partnering P&L, drive functional budget controlling and provide deal finance support for divestments of established Pharma products.

As an intern in our team, you will support the above-mentioned activities and have the opportunity to get to know the Group Finance and Pharma Partnering environment through interacting directly with Alliance & Asset Management. Furthermore, we offer you a multicultural workplace in a modern and flexible environment, which at the same time requires you to be open-minded, flexible and proactive.

In this position, you will

·
Gain hands-on experience by providing financial support for divestment activities through managing the regular sales reporting and analysis, and payment obligations to external divestment partners. You will work directly with Roche affiliates and get a feeling of how working relationships with external third parties look like

·
Assist in the activities related to monthly financial closings and forecasts of the Pharma Partnering P&L and intangible assets, as well as be involved in the planning of alliance milestones

·
Help simplify and automate the analysis of the Pharma Partnering functional budget (actuals, forecasts and variances) by supporting the creation of a controlling data source and re-design of the related management reports

·
Provide support for the financial and controlling activities associated to the alliance with BARDA (US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority)

·
Contribute to the transformation journey of Pharma Partnering Finance and the adoption of new agile ways of working
