Research team is responsible for end to end software delivery and maintenance in Research and Early Development. We support the needs of scientists from the department of Scientific Information & Application Development, BioInformatics and Computational Biology, ChemInformatics, DevSciences and Business Operations. The main business areas that we cover IT solutions are: pathology, in-vivo, protein science, genomic, proteomics, and small molecules.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a very good understanding of structural biology able to bring quality to a partnership level both externally as well as internally.

Candidates must demonstrate outstanding communication skills, ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, creativity, and a high degree of intellectual independence. Since the position requires direct contact with Roche/Genentech scientists it is important to understand the science they do to be able to discuss and collect bioinformatics needs they have.

As a Research Product Owne r you will be responsible for

· 
cooperating with teams that build software for highly specialized biotech laboratories of Genentech and Roche to support their daily work.

· 
gathering requirements from scientists and translating them into well-defined stories for the development team

· 
analyzing current IT solutions in order to improve them

· 
working with the development team to ensure the product fulfills business expectations

· 
preparing, agreeing and maintaining project plans (activities, schedules), and providing regular project status reports

· 
tracking project progress and performance with respect to scope and schedule

· 
facilitating workshops and acting on actions raised on them.

You have a degree in biotechnology, biology or other related disciplines. You have at least 4 years of experience in working in research, in structural biology (wet- or dry-lab).
