Position

We are looking for a Research Associate with interest in immunology/tumor immunology and a strong experience in the development and performance of in vitro assays, to be part of the Analytics and PK team.

The Analytics and PK team is part of the Oncology Discovery Pharmacology Department of the Roche Innovation Center Zürich, leading company in the development of cancer immuno-therapeutics. As a Senior Research Associate you will be working together with other scientists and associates, supporting the in vivo characterization of drug candidates. In this position you will:

·  Be responsible for establishing, performing and analyses of ELISA-based assays from ex vivo or in vitro experiments, using state-of-the-art laboratory and robotics. Experience in assay developments and PK/PD analysis is a clear plus
·  Be responsible for cell culture expansion, testing and database using advanced cell bank recording system. S/He will be the point of contact of Scientists and RAs for cell lines within the Pharmacology Department
·  Be responsible for the aliquotations of dedicated compounds for in vivo experiments

Qualification

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience with in vitro immunological techniques and cell cultures. Additionally, you bring:

·  Team playing skills
·  A high degree of self-motivation, flexibility and capacity to independently setup and conduct experiments and assay developments
·  Skills required to perform Analytics and PK analyses
·  Interest on working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
·  Interest in assay and experiments automation and implementation with robotics systems
·  English is required
