Roche Global Procurement is hiring a Regional Real Estate, Facilities & Utilities Specialist Europe to lead and manage our region Europe, group wide RE, FM & Utility Procurement activities, ensuring successful execution of procurement goals and objectives. Creates an environment of trust, partnership and empowerment, while seeking continuous improvement. Focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, total cost of ownership and best practice processes and principles by acknowledging international standards and best practice. This role will drive the development of advanced and innovative sourcing strategies through a rigorous supplier management and service delivery process. Manages procurement performance and customer satisfaction based on clearly defined financial and non-financial measurements. Develops and maintains procurement specific metrics to be achieved within a defined period.

Global Procurement (GP) is a key function that delivers value beyond savings to Roche by using market knowledge, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of goods and services and the management of Roche's third party spend. Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal business partners, GP helps bring innovative tests and medicines to patients.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated person, executing a pipeline of high-value strategic initiatives in Europe (Americas). Based on your deep subject matter expertise in the area of Real Estate, Facilities & Utilities, you are dedicatedly finding opportunities, engaging, and collaborating with cross-divisional senior business partners, stakeholder and regional procurement.

You will develop, align and introduce e.g. activity, condition based service delivery and you are familiar with modern asset management concepts as part of the service delivery requirements

In your role as Regional RE, FM & Utility Specialist, you will act in addition as KAM & Relationship Manager for a specific Roche business division. You will be responsible to foster communication and collaboration, mutual target setting & achievement process, expectation management and maintaining an open line into the wider business. You will connect internal demand with external market capabilities. With this foundation, you will provide and assure an environment of trust, partnership and mutual success.

Thanks to your strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, you ensure partner alignment and support to deliver outstanding value through the implementation of Strategies and initiatives.

Your main responsibilities include:

· 
Creation and application of a Business-aligned long-term Category Strategy and the development of an annual pipeline of strategic initiatives.

· 
Provide regional and globally aligned input to the development of the Real Estate, Facilities & Utilities Category Buying Guide to translate the Category Strategy into operational excellence.

· 
Understanding business priorities and challenges and ensuring successful comprehension of the Category Strategy by building positive relationships across geographically dispersed partners and engaging with local and regional Procurement and business partners.

· 
Ensuring a robust approach to supplier management, establishing value creation targets, reporting and regular business reviews.

· 
Foster KAM & Relationship Management within the assigned region and division throughout all hierarchical levels.

You have university level education (MSc or equivalent or higher) in Real Estate, Facility Management or related field with good technical understanding. You have 3-5 years of in-depth strategic and/or operational procurement experience with deep understanding of category management and advanced strategic sourcing, with subject matter expertise in Real Estate, Facilities & Utility categories, as well as proven experience in managing a portfolio of international projects.

Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and handle cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global/regional, fluid, interactive environment. Strong and clear communication across all hierarchical levels and entities of the regional organization

Excellent leadership in a matrix organization even without direct reporting lines. Ability to build lasting relationships and trust throughout divisional and hierarchical structure

· 
Professional and dedicated KAM and Relationship Management with exceptional openness and understanding for other cultures, expectations and objectives. Passionate about Real Estate & Facilities Management

· 
Confirmed capability in negotiation, change management and stakeholder management

· 
Clear and transparent decision making with a high sense of and desire for continuous improvement. Strong systematic thinking with ability to self-reflect.

· 
Business level fluency in English, German is an asset
