We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer looking for their next step in their professional development to join Roche Diagnostics, the world's leading health supplier in Diagnostics equipment. You will join the UK engineering support team, who are passionate about making a difference by tackling the challenges of today as we anticipate the needs of tomorrow - thus improving the lives of millions of patients across the UK.

Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager you will support the full product journey (inc. out of hours support and customer training) working on analysers varying in complexity, from stand-alone to full solutions controlled by intelligent workflow management As a key Roche Ambassador, you will thrive on delivering our customer promises to our NHS and private pathology labs.

In this role you will occasionally travel to other parts of the UK as well as internationally, thus giving you personal development opportunities by deepening your understanding of the Roche Diagnostics business as well as discovering other cultures. To be considered for this role, you must currently reside within the Derby, Nottingham and Leicester area or willing to relocate to the said area.

Your profile:

You are an ambitious and motivated, qualified field service professional with experience of high-value capital equipment. You will be qualified to an HNC/HND level or above in electronics. A relevant science subject would also be desirable.

You have good electro-mechanical systems knowledge gathered in any of these industries: biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, automation and aerospace, but to name a few.

Ideally, for the role, you will have field service experience in automated laboratory pathology systems or similar high tech equipment.

With proven customer service skills, you will combine a flexible approach with the positive determination to seize opportunities and resolve complex challenges through successful constructive resolutions.

You will possess a confident and collaborative working approach. You will excel in building productive customer relationships in a complex matrix environment.

Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate the following technical skills, knowledge and attributes:

Applies a logical and process-driven mindset driven & ability to manage personal time

· 
Disciplined to deliver service support in line with service KPIs

· 
Quick learner with innovative and continual improvement mind-set

· 
Experience of “on-site” customer-facing engineering support

· 
Proven track record of troubleshooting experience

· 
Good working knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems and information technology

· 
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and remote diagnostic tools

· 
A valid driver's license and indefinite rights of working in the UK are required
