The “OneRoche” initiatives aim to identify commonalities, opportunities and innovations across the Roche IT process and solution landscape, fostering a culture of collaboration, value- enabling and outcome-based thinking beyond divisional focuses. One of the first items on the “OneRoche” roadmap is the “cross-divisional Master Data Management” (cMDM) initiative. Together with the product manager and the business partners the position of the principal architect designs and co-creates strategy, roadmap, solution frameworks and the conceptual IT solution and data architecture, managing and overseeing its full lifecycle, of a Roche-wide master data management framework.

Responsibilities:

· 
The Principal Architect OneRoche customer Master Data Management (cMDM) willwork closely with key stakeholders across the entire Pharma Value Chain and IT andserve as a trusted IT strategist.

· 
Responsible for driving the development of a Principal Architect OneRoche cMDM strategic plan, s/he will work with senior business stakeholders to identify enabling technologies for achieving our patient centric vision and delivering on the strategy. She/He will work closely on other OneRoche priorities, such as patient access and engagement, rare disease service models etc.

TheOneRoche cMDM Architectwill develop and maintain the technology strategies and roadmaps, starting on customer data and customer engagement topics across the Roche business functions, aligning them with business strategies and priorities

· 
TheOneRoche cMDM Architectwill be responsible forproviding the business stakeholders a window to key innovative technology trends and evolution of technology within the healthcare industry, which has the potential to accelerate the fulfillment of the strategic vision as well as regular updates on progress of current IT innovations.

· 
The role synchronises Roche Enterprise technology standards with any cMDM delivery bi-directionally, leveraging a culture of re-use, pragmatism and simplicity

· 
We expect theOneRoche cMDM Architectto be a passionate business and product advocate within IT, with proven analytical capabilities. S/he must be an effective negotiator, leader and communicator in working with Roche/Genentech's multiple business units as well as with internal IT cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

· 
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field;Master/PHD in Business, Mathematics, Science, or Computer Science preferred

· 
Overall 10+ years experience in Product delivery and/or architecture, of which at least 5-10 years as an Architect.

· 
Strong Experience in Patient Engagement and Digital Health applications, concepts, tools and language. The ideal candidate is a recognized leader at the confluence of Patient Engagement, Digital Health technology and science/medicine, with strong familiarity with drug development in multiple disease areas.

· 
Solid understanding of AWS and/or similar cloud stacks

· 
Strong Experience in designing and implementing high available and high scalable big data systems; 3+ years of experience in leading implementation of high scalable datamanagement as well as customer relationship management systems strongly preferred

· 
Proven Knowledge of enterprise scale Customer Engagement systems, Master Data & complex Data Management and Analytics systems, HL7/FHIR data standards, HIPAA, and other healthcare compliance/regulatory requirements is preferred; patient data management experience strongly preferred

· 
Proven Knowledge and Experience in designing, implementing Patient Engagement Platforms and prior experience in Digital Health applications/platforms is preferred

· 
Proven ability to upwardly influence the strategic direction of business solutions

· 
Ability to work in environment of competing and alternating priorities with constant focus on delivery

· 
Proven ability to balance business demands and fulfillment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing flexibility

· 
Proven ability to lead a virtual architecture organization

· 
Proven ability to relate and adapt vision and strategy to the external environment that affects the organization in terms of economic climate, customer market demand, regulation and other legalities, geography, culture, technology

· 
Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills; solid business acumen; well-honed influencing skills are essential.

· 
Self-motivated, highly dependable and team-oriented; able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team
