Job Purpose:

The position is empowered to co-design the solution with government to enable Taiwan to be a more PHC-friendly environment in cancer care. As the PHC Scientific Value Partner, s/he is also leading RWD Scientists to work with the whole Medical Affairs team for RWE generation strategies in order to better support medical strategies and business needs.

Key Accountabilities

PHC ecosystem building:

·  Identify common interests between Roche and Government under PHC to co-create the PHC ecosystem
·  Build trust & credibility with internal and external key stakeholders
·  Gathering insights from key stakeholders e.g. government, clinicians, medical society, researchers, patient groups etc. to innovatively shape local policies towards a more PHC-friendly environment
·  Design, develop and implement the PHC Taiwan project
·  Build strong partnership from the scientific perspective
·  Educate and provide targeted information to relevant stakeholders e.g. applying RWD to support regulatory and reimbursement decisions

Real-world evidence generation:

·  Generate and maintain the RWE generation strategies for Medical Affairs.
·  Lead RWD Scientists to support Medical Strategies through professional evidence generation.
·  Coach and develop RWD Scientists as a people manager.

Job Requirement

Qualifications / Education :

·  MD, PharmD or relevant PhD for the Therapeutic Domain (preferred)with working experience in real-world evidence generation.

Working Experience:

·  Has strong oncology expertise
·  Has clinical practice understanding; Experience in clinical operation preferred
·  Experience of partnership with government or external organizations
·  Significant experience in RWD/RWE research

Skills & Knowledge:

·  Has an entrepreneurial mindset and is able to act fast
·  Is a system thinker with feet on the ground
·  Able to learn quickly, and grow to take on new challenges
·  Has strong knowledge of drug development process, with cross-functional experience
·  Able to establish collaborations with government
·  Establish scientific collaborations with TAEs, Researchers, and patient groups etc.
·  Is a mobilizer & influencer, who can build and maintain open and transparent communication with key PHC stakeholders
