Your day to day responsibilities will be:
As a Payroll Expert you will be supporting the Roche-site in Mannheim. Our team handles inquiries for all German Roche employees and manages administration of all HR-related processes. In this function, you will contribute actively to dealing with complex processes and issues in the area of payroll, taxation and social insurance. Our team is diverse, with members of different educational background and levels of experience.
Main tasks including but not limited to:
· As a qualified expert, you will work on payroll processes of all German sites and on inquiries related to payroll accounting, as well as tax and social insurance law
· You will proactively support the organization and projects in all tax and social insurance law inquiries and work closely together with the relevant stakeholders
· You will provide our HR employees with training and HR knowledge base articles to ensure that our AskHR Help Desk Agents can give customers professional in-depth answers.
· You will provide information actively and regularly about changes in Payroll processes/regulations or Social Insurance Law
· You will ensure correspondence with authorities, health insurance companies and social insurance institutions
· The handling of fringe benefits and their appropriate taxation / contribution belongs to your area of responsibility as well.
What would you bring to our team?
As an ideal team member you would have a diverse background, you are open minded and ready to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. Also, you would have:
· University degree in Economics / Social Sciences or relevant professional experience
· Extensive knowledge in payroll processes, tax- and social insurance law
· 2-5 years of experience in a relevant HR Servicing role at a multinational company
· Strong communication and advisory skills and you are able to deal with complex issues
· Knowledge of SAP/Workday is a huge advantage
· Living customer centricity through your day-to-day interactions
· End-to-end accountability,problem-solvingskills, growth & agile mindset in ambiguous situations
· Multi-cultural acceptance, ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Proficiency in English and German

Please note that this is a fixed-term opportunity until December 31st 2021.The holder of this position is expected to travel to Germany regularly. Time share between Hungary and Germany is expected to be 50-50%.
