In an Organisation with big ambition, there is opportunity to make meaningful change a reality. We have a vacancy for a full time Medical Information Responsible Partner. This is a specified purpose contract to cover a Maternity Leave.

Reporting to the Head of Medical, as the Medical Information Responsible Partner you are an enthusiastic patient advocate. You will provide high quality medical information service for the Roche Portfolio to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Tasks

•Ensure best in class, objective, accurate and prompt response to medical Information enquiries received from internal and external stakeholders in compliance with regulations, Roche requirements, procedures and according to the customer expectations.

•Maintain custodianship of query management systems, process and tools, ensuring medical information compliance activities are fully met.

•Assume responsibilities and charge of MI accountable for the affiliate being the single point of contact in the affiliate, representing the affiliate MI function.

•Implement medical compliance & quality requirements ensuring global medical information standards are met. Participate in the regional and local quality forum. Develop, implement, manage and maintain local MI procedural documents on approved document management system.

•Collaborate and communicate effectively across regional Europe medical information network and the global medical information network.

•Collaborate at cross functional level and share best practices to ensure customer needs are met as appropriate. Ensuring Medical Information is integrated into launch planning for Roche Portfolio.

•Prepare and provide medical information customer insights reports to the Squads and Skill Centres.

•Recognise and document non-medical information enquiries including adverse events, product quality complaints and customer service issues and, if needed, triage the information to the appropriate internal function.

•Work with the pharmacovigilance function to ensure all adverse events received at medical information are appropriately reported and reconciled. On a needs be basis assesses seriousness of ICSRs in the absence of the LSR and provide opinion on licenced use of products where required.

•Assumes back up responsibility for conducting and recording details of the affiliate local literature review, including review of media directories for new journals and completing routine review of applicable local journals and documenting the details of these reviews in accordance with the relevant procedures.

•Maintain business continuity of Medical Information Function by engaging with out of hours service, permitting Medical Information responses to out of hour’s Medical Information enquiries.

•Assume the role of Affiliate Publication Responsible (APR) through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensure accountability for overseeing local publication processes and adherence to publication best practices in the planning and writing of peer-reviewed publications and for ensuring that all affiliate publications are tracked in the Roche Publication Tracking System.

•Act as medical responsible for non-promoted portfolio in Ireland, including training of internal & external stakeholders.

Person/Skills Profile

•Experience in the pharmaceutical industry desirable.

•HCP or Scientist with a degree in a life science, human biology, pharmacology, pharmacy, or equivalent.

•Proven ability to acquire knowledge in different diseases and therapeutic areas.

•Evidence Based Medicines principals knowledge

•Computer literacy (e.g Microsoft Office, Internet Medical Information literature searching –OVID, Embase, Micromedex etc).

•You grasp things quickly, communicate effectively and solve challenges through your personal commitment

•Fluent in written and spoken English

•The ability to write clear, concise, unambiguous medical text

•Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organisational skills

•Commitment to performance measures of time, flexibility, costs and quality

•Understanding of the sense of urgency required to deliver information services

•Must demonstrate responsiveness, flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements

•Understanding of local laws, regulations, codes of practice, pharmacovigilance and healthcare compliance.
