As a Manufacturing Engineer , you should possess a specialized and in-depth comprehensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical engineering. Your duties will be varied and complex often involving research, analysis and solution development. You will provide direction on issues of area of expertise and assist department leadership in setting strategic direction. The regular use of originality and ingenuity will be required. You should also possess and will apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures within field of expertise. You will be assigned more complex and difficult assignments. Your assignments will be broad in nature. You will work with greater discretion and latitude. You will assist production and maintenance staff by providing advice and support in alignment with the production schedule. This includes after hours support.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Ensures the manufacturing process is producing to the optimum related to quality, efficiency and yield. Defines and justifies process improvement projects and initiatives to improve quality and reduce production costs. Ensures the manufacturing process stays in control and in compliance with the quality system. Consults with senior internal and external contacts to perform benchmarking in own area of expertise to ensure use of the best industry engineering practices.

Requirements :

·  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred) or closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
·  2 years of related experience, preferred
