TheMedical Strategy & Innovationteam is centered on developing the Global Medical Strategy and Plan of Roche Diabetes Care. As part of the Global Medical & Scientific Affairs Organization, the team is fostering medical value creation, differentiation and innovation by setting strategic directions for RDC in the areas of A) Evidence & Data Generation B) Medical/Scientific Communication and Education 3) Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management & Engagement. Moreover the team drives other global strategic initiatives and projects in RDC (e.g. congress strategy, Partnerships & Alliances etc.) out of the Medical Project Management Office (PMO).

The position / Job Description:

We have an opening for an intern to help us to work on cross-functional strategic projects (e.g. KOL Strategy, Congress Strategy). You are highly self-motivated and willing to work independently, as well as with internal and external partners to complete this project.

This project could potentially be used to complete a master's thesis.

During your internship your tasks will include:

You will work in cross-functional projects together with global, regional or local colleagues e.g. from Marketing, R&D, Business Development functions

·
You will be supporting the medical evaluation and analysis of potential partnerships & alliances and / or medical due diligence projects

·
You will help coordinating projects of the Medical PMO

·
You will help supporting the medical strategy development process

·
You will be responsible for literature researches for different topics (scientific, medical, business, startups and companies etc.)

·
You will help creating communication tools for the team (e.g. power points etc.)

Enrolled in an Pharmacy, Medicine, Biochemistry, Biology or other natural-/life sciences related degree
Alternatively you can also be enrolled in a business or healthcare related Masters degree

·
Ideally you bring business background and understanding in addition (e.g. BS, MBA or related experience)

·
Experience in consulting, healthcare environment or pharmaceutical / diagnostic industry is a plus

·
Knowledge in diabetes / cardiovascular diseases is a plus

·
Creative and innovative thinking

·
Analytical and problem-solving skills

·
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.

·
English language fluency and good writing/communication/presentation skills

Please note that you have to be enrolled in university during the half of the internship period.

The preferred start date of this internship is October (Duration 6-12 months).

Along with your CV, please include a cover letter outlining your motivation and expectations for this internship.
